```js
// script.js, سطرًا 32–48
// placement 'spread' gathers the notes cited on the two pages of a spread at the end of the
// left-hand page's text, the fore-edge in a book bound on the right, under a rule a third of
// the line long, and numbers them per spread. The marker （1） stands small at the right of
// the line, its digits upright, and the note opens with its number and a full note-em.
const footnotes = {
  placement: 'spread', // 傍注; 'chapterEnd' sets 後注 after the chapter instead
  numbering: 'spread',
  markerPosition: 'right', markerTemplate: '（{n}）', // written out: 'ja' sets them so
  numberGap: 'em', hangingIndent: em(2), // turnovers clear the number
  fontSize: em(0.8), lineHeight: em(1.5),
  separator: { width: 1 / 3, lineWidth: pt(0.5), color: col('plum') },
};
// Ichiyō's sesame marks (傍点) over ぎつちよんちよん: the mark Japan uses, right of the line.
const cjk = {
  grid: { enabled: true, charsPerLine: CHARS, linesPerPage: LINES },
  emphasisMark: { style: 'sesame', position: 'over' },
};
## المكونات
**تعلّم**
- [الحواشي في الكتب اليابانية](https://postext.dev/ar/docs/japanese-layout.md#الحواشي): الحواشي كما تنضدها الكتب اليابانية. في النص العمودي تكون العلامة （1） بأرقام قائمة على يمين السطر، وتجتمع الحواشي في آخر الفصل (後注)؛ وفي النص الأفقي تكون في ذيل الصفحة، مرقّمة لكل صفحة تحت خط بطول ثلث عرض السطر. ويضع footnotes.placement: 'spread' حواشي جانبية (傍注) عند الحافة الخارجية لصفحة اليسار في كل صفحتين متقابلتين، ويضع footnotes.markerPosition: 'side' علامة صغيرة بين السطور بجانب الكلمة (合印).
- [الحواشي السفلية](https://postext.dev/ar/docs/document-format.md#الحواشي-السفلية): حواشٍ يُستشهد بها بالصيغة [^id] وتوضع أسفل العمود الذي يستشهد بها، أو بعد الفصل، مرقّمة لكل فصل أو على امتداد الكتاب.
- [علامات التوكيد اليابانية (bōten)](https://postext.dev/ar/docs/japanese-layout.md#علامات-التوكيد-بوتين): تؤكد اليابانية بعلامة بجانب كل حرف، لا بالمائل أبدًا: يضع *…* أو :dots[…] في المستند الموسوم ja نقطة سمسم ﹅ فوق النص الأفقي وعلى يمين النص العمودي. ويغيّر cjk.emphasisMark شكلها (سمسم، نقطة، دائرة، مثلث…)، ويملؤها أو يتركها مفرغة، وينقلها إلى الجهة الأخرى.
## طريقة التحضير
### 1 · اجمع حواشي الصفحتين عند الحافة الخارجية للصفحة اليسرى
الشيفرة هي [الجواب المختصر](#الجواب-المختصر) أعلاه. يضع `footnotes.placement: 'spread'` الحواشي المُحال إليها في الصفحتين 2 و3 بعد نهاية نص الصفحة 3، وهي في كتاب مجلَّد من اليمين حافتها الخارجية، ويبدأ `numbering: 'spread'` حواشي كل صفحتين متقابلتين من （1） ([الحواشي السفلية](/ar/docs/configuration#الحواشي-السفلية)). الحاشية المُحال إليها في الصفحة اليمنى تنتظر الصفحة اليسرى؛ وإن تركت الحواشي للصفحة اليسرى أقل من سطر واحد من النص بقيت البقية عند ذيل الصفحة اليمنى، كما تجيز JLReq. والمستند الموسوم `ja` يضع علامات الكتاب العمودي أصلًا على هيئة `（{n}）` يمين السطر، بحجم 0.7 em، وأرقامها قائمة: السطران المكتوبان صراحةً يُظهران ذلك. ويضع `numberGap: 'em'` بعد الرقم مسافة بعرض حرف كامل من حروف الحاشية، ويصفّ `hangingIndent: em(2)` أسطرها التالية بعده.
### 2 · اكتب العلامات حيث تضعها اليابانية
يكتب Markdown `見返り柳[^1]` بعد الكلمة التي تشرحها الحاشية، والحواشي فقرات `[^1]: …` في نهاية الفصل. تتبع العلامة الكلمة التي تشرحها الحاشية؛ والعلامة التي تنهي جملة تأتي قبل 。 (`…先生[^1]。`)، ولا يترك المحرّك 。 ولا علامة حاشية تبدأ سطرًا أبدًا. كُتبت الحواشي السبع لهذه الوصفة بيابانية حديثة بسيطة: ما كان 見返り柳 وما كانت お齒ぐろ溝، وأين كان 大音寺前، وما الذي كان يُباع في 酉の市.
### 3 · احتفظ بعلامات السمسم التي في الأصل
يحدد `cjk.emphasisMark` ما يطبعه `*…*` و`:dots[…]` في هذا الكتاب: نقاط السمسم، يمين السطر العمودي. والمستند `ja` يستعملها أصلًا، وكتابتها صراحةً تُظهر علامات التوكيد (圏点, kenten) في قائمة الميزات. يعلّم نص Aozora الكلمة ぎつちよんちよん بـ傍点، وكتبها `aozora.py` هكذا `:dots[ぎつちよんちよん]{style=sesame}`؛ أما الكتب الصينية فتضع النقاط تحت السطر ([العلامات والروبي والواريتشو](/ar/docs/configuration#العلامات-والروبي-والواريتشو)).
### 4 · ابدأ على صفحتين متقابلتين
```js
// script.js, سطرًا 52–71
// Page-anchored design on a vertical page: x runs down the page from its top edge, y across
// it leftwards from its right edge. The title stands on the page's axis, the author lower.
const PT = 25.4 / 72; // mm in a point
const page = (down, across) => ({ anchor: { to: 'page', edge: 'top-left' },
  offset: { x: mm(down), y: mm(across) } });
const TITLE = 26; // pt
// gotcha: headings-drop-h1-break
const story = { level: 1, breakBefore: { enabled: true, parity: 'any' },
  advancedDesign: { enabled: true, minHeight: lines(LINES), slot: { elements: [
    { kind: 'text', id: 'title', content: '{titleText}', fontFamily: MINCHO, fontWeight: 700,
      fontSize: pt(TITLE), lineHeight: 1, letterSpacing: pt(TITLE / 2), color: col('ink'),
      placement: page(42, 127 / 2 - (TITLE * PT) / 2) },
    { kind: 'rule', id: 'rule', direction: 'horizontal', thickness: pt(0.6), color: col('plum'),
      placement: { ...page(42, 127 / 2 + (TITLE * PT) / 2 + 5), size: { width: mm(24) } } },
    { kind: 'text', id: 'author', content: '{author}', fontFamily: MINCHO, fontSize: pt(12),
      letterSpacing: pt(4), color: col('ink'),
      placement: page(118, 127 / 2 + (TITLE * PT) / 2 + 3) },
  ] } } };
const section = { level: 2, fontFamily: MINCHO, fontWeight: 700, fontSize: pt(11),
  lineSpan: 3, indent: em(7) }; // 3行取り, seven characters down, as the Aozora text marks it
```
تحيل الجملة الأولى من الفصل إلى أربع حواشٍ في أسطرها الثلاثة الأولى. لو وُضعت تحت عنوان في الصفحة 1 لما تركت إلا مكانًا لثلاثة أسطر من النص، فالصفحة اليسرى المنفردة تحمل حواشيها وحدها ولا تحمل حواشي غيرها. أما صفحة عنوان وحدها في الصفحة 1 فتنقل الفصل إلى الصفحة 2، وهي صفحة يمنى، فتحمل الصفحتان المتقابلتان الأوليان النص وحواشيه كلها. وصفحة العنوان عنوان من المستوى الأول يملأ تصميمه الصفحة، مثبَّت إلى حدود القصّ ليقف العنوان على محور الصفحة.
### 5 · ضع الترويسة وأرقام الصفحات نزولًا على الحافة الخارجية
```js
// script.js, سطرًا 75–89
const foreEdge = (id, content, parity, edge, y, pages) => ({
  kind: 'text', id, content, parity, pages, writingMode: 'vertical-rl',
  fontFamily: GOTHIC, fontSize: pt(7), letterSpacing: pt(1), color: col('muted'),
  overflow: 'clip', placement: { anchor: { to: 'outer', edge }, offset: { y: em(y) } },
});
const header = { elements: [
  foreEdge('hashira', '{title}', 'odd', 'top', 2, 'body'),
  foreEdge('folio', '{pageNumber}', 'all', 'bottom', -2, 'body'),
] };
// The title page carries the colophon across the foot, in the edition's language.
const footer = { elements: [{ kind: 'text', id: 'colophon', content: '{attr.colophon}',
  pages: 'opener', fontFamily: GOTHIC, fontSize: pt(5.5), lineHeight: 1.45,
  color: col('muted'), overflow: 'wrap', align: 'center',
  placement: { anchor: { to: 'page', edge: 'bottom' }, offset: { y: mm(-6) },
    size: { width: mm(100) } } }] };
```
يجري العنوان نزولًا في الهامش الخارجي للصفحات اليسرى، خارج الحواشي، وتقف أرقام الصفحات بالكانجي عند ذيل كل صفحة ما عدا صفحة العنوان.
## تنويعات
### اجمع الحواشي في نهاية الفصل
بلا `placement` يضع كتاب `ja` العمودي حواشيه على هيئة 後注 (kōchū): بعد نص الفصل، تحت الخط نفسه، مرقّمة على امتداد الفصل. وهي هنا تملأ النصف الأيسر من الصفحة 4.
```diff
- placement: 'spread', // 傍注; 'chapterEnd' sets 後注 after the chapter instead
-  numbering: 'spread',
+ placement: 'chapterEnd', // 後注, the default for a vertical ja book
+  numbering: 'chapter',
```
### ضع العلامة بجانب الكلمة
يضع `markerPosition: 'side'` علامة أصغر في الفراغ الذي بجانب السطر، كما تُوضع الروبي بين الأسطر، فلا تأخذ من السطر أي مكان.
```diff
- markerPosition: 'right', markerTemplate: '（{n}）', // written out: 'ja' sets them so
+  markerPosition: 'side', markerTemplate: '{n}',
```
## أخطاء شائعة
- **اوسم النص الياباني بـ 'ja'، لا بـ zh-Hans ولا بـ LANG.** نسختا الوصفة هما en وes، لكن المثال الياباني ياباني في كلتيهما: `locale: LANG` سيسمه بالإنجليزية أو الإسبانية، والوسم الصيني سينضّده بالقواعد الصينية (ترقيم Kaiming، وكانا صغيرة يجوز أن تبدأ بها الأسطر، و图 بدل 図، وأشكال صينية للحروف في PDF). اكتب 'ja': يختار منطقة اليابان (كسر الأسطر والترقيم وفق JLReq، ونقاط السمسم، وتوزيع الفوريغانا، وتسميتي 図 و表) ويوقف تقسيم الكلمات. ويُفشل الفحصُ نصًّا فيه كانا موسومًا بـ zh أو ko.
- **أي كائن headings يُلغي فاصل الصفحة قبل H1.** ينتقل H1 افتراضيًا إلى صفحة فردية (always-odd)، لكن تمرير أي كائن headings يعيد ضبط هذا الافتراض، فتتوالى الفصول دون فاصل ولا يفعل span: 'page' شيئًا. أعد كتابة headings.levels[0].breakBefore: { enabled: true, parity } في كل إعداد.
- **الخطوط الصينية تُحمَّل شرائح، عبر الكتلة cjk.** يقدّم Fontsource العائلة الصينية أو اليابانية أو الكورية في نحو مئة ملف لكل وزن، يغطي كل منها نطاقًا من الحروف. لا يجلب loadFonts إلا ملف latin، فتأتي حروف الهان على الشاشة من خط النظام وتُقاس خطأً، ويسلّم fontsourceProvider ملف latin ذاك إلى PDF، فيطبعها مربعات فارغة. اذكر كتلة الأدوات cjk، واستدعِ loadCjkFonts(FONTS, markdown) بعد loadFonts (مرة لكل صوت، مع النص الذي يضعه، حين يستخدم الكتاب عدة خطوط CJK)، وأعطِ renderToPdf القيمة fontProvider: cjkPdfProvider: كلاهما يأخذ الملفات التي تحتوي حروف النص.
- **الكتاب المجلَّد على اليمين يعرض صفحاته المتقابلة بـ showBook.** في الكتاب المجلَّد على اليمين (نص عربي أو عبري أو فارسي، أو صيني عمودي، أو page.binding 'right') تبقى الصفحة 1 هي الصفحة الفردية، لكنها تقع على يسار الكعب، وتُقرأ الأزواج [3 | 2]. يعرض showPages كل كتاب مجلَّدًا على اليسار؛ أما showBook من الكتلة book (وتحمل الكتلة cjk الدالة نفسها) فيقرأ doc.binding ويعكس الأزواج. ولا يزال capture.hero يسمّي الصفحتين المتقابلتين بترتيب القراءة، [verso, recto]: [2, 3].
