## Kurz gesagt

## Was Sie setzen

```js
// script.js, Zeilen 75–91
// ### Repasa y escribe {w="nina" model="niña"} draws four rows on the edition's ruling: the
// model and dotted copies, a row of dots, the model and one copy, and an empty row. The
// ruling and the dots are one picture per block ('trazo-' + w, drawn under #region art); the
// models are live text set on its baselines. A design text's baseline falls 0.8 of its line
// below the box top, so a box of line L set at baseline − 0.8 L puts the letters on the line.
const G = CJK ? null : geometry(ED.ruling, ED.u); // rows, baselines and the face's size
const LABEL_H = 7; // mm: the block's label above its ruling
const model = (id, row, extra = {}) => text(id, '{attr.model}', HAND, G.size / 0.3528,
  at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H + G.base[row] - 0.8 * G.line,
    { width: mm(W) }), { lineHeight: mm(G.line), overflow: 'clip', ...extra });
const wordBlock = (rows, again = true) => ({ enabled: true,
  minHeight: mm(LABEL_H + G.height(rows)), slot: { elements: [label('label'),
    image('trazo', 'trazo-{attr.w}', at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H,
      box(W, G.height(rows)))),
    model('model-1', 0),
    ...(again ? [model('model-3', 2)] : []), // a sentence is written out once
  ] } });
## Zubereitung
### 1 · Jeder Ausgabe ihre Schulschrift und ihr Papier geben
```js
// script.js, Zeilen 33–57
// hand: the school model the children copy; ruling: the paper they copy it on; u: its
// x-height in mm (the height of an a), the unit every ruling is drawn in; rise: the room its
// capitals need above a title. The Chinese text is in Song: the Kai face, cut for Hong Kong
// and Taiwan, centres its commas, so it sets only the titles and the squares.
const EDITIONS = {
  en: { hand: 'Playwrite GB J', ruling: 'gb', u: 3.6 },
  es: { hand: 'Playwrite ES', ruling: 'pauta', u: 3.6 },
  ca: { hand: 'Playwrite ES', ruling: 'pauta', u: 3.6 },
  fr: { hand: 'Playwrite FR Trad', ruling: 'seyes', u: 3, rise: 5 },
  de: { hand: 'Playwrite DE VA', ruling: 'lineatur', u: 3.6 },
  it: { hand: 'Playwrite IT Trad', ruling: 'righe', u: 3.6 },
  pt: { hand: 'Playwrite BR', ruling: 'caligrafia', u: 3.2 },
  zh: { hand: 'LXGW WenKai TC', ruling: 'tian', text: 'Noto Serif SC',
    label: 'Noto Sans SC', pinyin: 'Andika', cell: 16 },
  ja: { hand: 'Klee One', ruling: 'masu', text: 'Klee One', label: 'Zen Maru Gothic', cell: 16 },
  ar: { hand: 'Playpen Sans Arabic', ruling: 'satr', u: 3.6,
    text: 'Noto Naskh Arabic', label: 'Baloo Bhaijaan 2' },
};
const ED = { text: 'Andika', label: 'Lexend', rise: 0, ...EDITIONS[LANG] };
const [HAND, TEXT, LABEL] = [ED.hand, ED.text, ED.label];
const CJK = ED.cell !== undefined; // a grid of squares, one character to each
const RTL = LANG === 'ar';
const LW = CJK ? 700 : 600; // the labels' weight: the CJK label faces ship no 600
// Labels in tracked capitals, where the script has capitals.
const caps = (n) => (!CJK && !RTL ? { textTransform: 'uppercase', letterSpacing: pt(n) } : {});
```
`u` ist die x-Höhe in Millimetern, die Einheit, in der jede Lineatur gezeichnet wird: 3,6 mm in den meisten Ausgaben, 3 mm in der französischen, deren Seyès-Linien eine x-Höhe auseinanderliegen. Alle Playwrite-Schriften zeichnen ihre x-Höhe auf der Hälfte des Gevierts, deshalb ist die Vorlage `u / 0.5` groß, und die Linien liegen dort, wo die Proportionen der Schrift selbst Ober- und Unterlängen hinsetzen. Der chinesische Text steht in einer Song (Noto Serif SC): LXGW WenKai TC setzt die Kommas mittig, wie man in Hongkong und Taiwan druckt, deshalb setzt die Kai nur die Titel und die Kästchen.
### 2 · Die Vorlage als lebenden Text auf die Lineatur setzen
```js
// script.js, Zeilen 75–91
// ### Repasa y escribe {w="nina" model="niña"} draws four rows on the edition's ruling: the
// model and dotted copies, a row of dots, the model and one copy, and an empty row. The
// ruling and the dots are one picture per block ('trazo-' + w, drawn under #region art); the
// models are live text set on its baselines. A design text's baseline falls 0.8 of its line
// below the box top, so a box of line L set at baseline − 0.8 L puts the letters on the line.
const G = CJK ? null : geometry(ED.ruling, ED.u); // rows, baselines and the face's size
const LABEL_H = 7; // mm: the block's label above its ruling
const model = (id, row, extra = {}) => text(id, '{attr.model}', HAND, G.size / 0.3528,
  at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H + G.base[row] - 0.8 * G.line,
    { width: mm(W) }), { lineHeight: mm(G.line), overflow: 'clip', ...extra });
const wordBlock = (rows, again = true) => ({ enabled: true,
  minHeight: mm(LABEL_H + G.height(rows)), slot: { elements: [label('label'),
    image('trazo', 'trazo-{attr.w}', at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H,
      box(W, G.height(rows)))),
    model('model-1', 0),
    ...(again ? [model('model-3', 2)] : []), // a sentence is written out once
  ] } });
```
Ein Übungsblock ist eine Überschrift der Ebene 3, deren Gestaltung ein einziges Bild zeichnet, die Lineatur mit den gepunkteten Abschriften, und darauf die Vorlage als Text in der Schulschrift setzt. Die Grundlinie eines Gestaltungstexts liegt 0,8 seiner Zeilenhöhe unter der Oberkante seines Kastens. Der Kasten der Vorlage sitzt deshalb 0,8 Zeilenhöhen über der Grundlinie der Schreibzeile, und die Buchstaben stehen auf der Linie, die die Lineatur zeichnet. Die Zeilenhöhe beträgt zehn x-Höhen, damit der Kasten erst 2 u unter der Grundlinie abschneidet, tief genug für die Unterlänge eines g. Der Text der Überschrift, *Spur nach und schreib*, wird zur Beschriftung des Blocks; `w` benennt das Bild und `model` das Wort.
### 3 · Die Punkte aus den Umrissen der Schrift selbst zeichnen
Postext setzt einen Buchstaben farbig, als Kontur oder blass, aber nicht als Punktreihe entlang seines Strichs. Die Punkte entstehen deshalb vor dem Satz, aus den Umrissen des Thin-Schnitts jeder Playwrite-Familie: alle 0,2 x-Höhen ein Punkt entlang jeder Kontur, und ein Punkt bleibt nur stehen, wenn kein anderer näher als 0,8 dieses Abstands liegt, sodass die beiden Seiten eines dünnen Strichs eine einzige Reihe ergeben. Der i-Punkt und die Akzente bleiben kleine gefüllte Formen. Die Punkte jeder Ausgabe liegen mit den Dickten von Abschrift und Vorlage in `traces-<lang>.json`, und der Pen verteilt die Abschriften auf die Zeilen: hinter der Vorlage, über eine ganze Zeile, eine einzige hinter der Vorlage und zuletzt eine leere Zeile.
### 4 · Zeichen in ihren Kästchen nachspuren
```js
// script.js, Zeilen 95–127
// ### 写一写 {c1="日" c2="月"}: each character in the first square of its row, three copies to
// trace in the pale red (描红) or grey (なぞり書き) of the next squares, then empty ones. A
// Han or kana character is one em wide, so tracking of (square − em) sets one per square.
const [CELL, EM] = [ED.cell ?? 16, (ED.cell ?? 16) * 0.72]; // mm: the square, its character
const SQUARES = Math.floor(W / CELL);
const row = (n, y, content, x, color) => text(`r${n}-${x}`, content, HAND, EM / 0.3528,
  at('container', 'top-left', x * CELL + (CELL - EM) / 2, y + (CELL - EM) / 2 + EM * 0.06,
    box(W - x * CELL, EM)),
  { lineHeight: mm(EM), letterSpacing: mm(CELL - EM), overflow: 'clip', color: col(color) });
// A sentence (####) takes three rows: written out, traced, and a row to write it alone.
const squareBlock = (rows, sentence) => ({ enabled: true, minHeight: mm(LABEL_H + rows * CELL),
  slot: { elements: [label('label'), image('grid', `squares-${rows}`,
    at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H, box(SQUARES * CELL, rows * CELL))),
  ...(sentence ? [row(0, LABEL_H, '{attr.model}', 0, 'ink'),
    row(1, LABEL_H + CELL, '{attr.model}', 0, 'trace')] : Array.from({ length: rows }, (_, n) => [
    row(n, LABEL_H + n * CELL, `{attr.c${n + 1}}`, 0, 'ink'),
    row(n, LABEL_H + n * CELL, `{attr.c${n + 1}}{attr.c${n + 1}}{attr.c${n + 1}}`, 1, 'trace'),
  ]).flat()),
  ] } });
// Pinyin on four lines and three spaces (四线三格), ##### {model="bā"}: the syllable, copies
// to trace in the pale red, the syllable again and room after it.
const P = ED.pinyin ? geometry('sixian', 3.6) : null;
const pinyin = (id, n, x, content, color) => text(id, content, ED.pinyin, P.size / 0.3528,
  at('container', 'top-left', x, LABEL_H + P.base[n] - 0.8 * P.line, { width: mm(W - x) }),
  { lineHeight: mm(P.line), overflow: 'clip', color: col(color) });
const copies = Array(5).fill('{attr.model}').join('\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0');
const pinyinBlock = P && { enabled: true, minHeight: mm(LABEL_H + P.height(3)),
  slot: { elements: [label('label'),
    image('lines', 'sixian', at('container', 'top-left', 0, LABEL_H,
      box(W, P.height(3)))),
    pinyin('p1', 0, 0, '{attr.model}', 'ink'), pinyin('p1-copies', 0, 36, copies, 'trace'),
    pinyin('p2', 1, 0, copies, 'trace'), pinyin('p3', 2, 0, '{attr.model}', 'ink'),
  ] } };
```
Ein Han-Zeichen oder ein Kana ist ein Geviert breit, also setzt eine Sperrung von Kästchenbreite minus Geviert ein Zeichen pro Kästchen, wie in einem 字帖. Das erste Kästchen einer Zeile trägt das Zeichen in Tinte, die nächsten drei dasselbe Zeichen im Blassrot des 描红 (in der japanischen Ausgabe in Grau), der Rest bleibt leer. Ein Satz (`####`) belegt drei Zeilen: vorgeschrieben, nachgespurt und leer, jedes Satzzeichen in einem eigenen Kästchen. Die chinesischen Pinyin-Zeilen nutzen die Vierlinien-Lineatur der lateinischen Ausgaben mit Andika, deren einstöckiges a und g die Formen sind, die Kinder lernen.
### 5 · Für das Arabische nichts spiegeln
Die arabische Ausgabe teilt jede Gestaltung mit den anderen. Eine Überschriftengestaltung im Fluss einer Seite von rechts nach links spiegelt die Engine, also wandern die Buchstabenscheibe, die Vorlage und das erste Bild des Wörterbuchs von selbst nach rechts. Nur die gepunkteten Abschriften, die in einem Bild gezeichnet sind, legt der Code vom rechten Rand aus an, und die Wellen der Schwungübungen laufen von rechts nach links. `locale: 'ar'` bindet das Buch rechts.
## Das ganze Rezept
Eine Datei, aus dem Ordner des Rezepts zusammengesetzt, mit dem Beispieltext und dem gemeinsamen Baukasten der Rezepte bereits eingebettet; sie baut ihre eigene Seite auf. Zum Ausführen setzen Sie sie in ein `<script type="module">` auf einer leeren Seite oder fügen sie in das JS-Feld eines neuen CodePen-Pens ein (als Modul). Sie importiert postext von esm.sh, es gibt also nichts zu installieren oder zu bauen.
## Varianten
### Die amerikanische Schreibschrift nehmen
Playwrite hat für viele Schulschriften eine eigene Familie. Für die amerikanische Schreibschrift tauschen Sie die englische Schrift aus und erzeugen ihre Punkte neu.
```diff
-  en: { hand: 'Playwrite GB J', ruling: 'gb', u: 3.6 },
+  en: { hand: 'Playwrite US Trad', ruling: 'gb', u: 3.6 },
```
### Auf jeder zweiten Seyès-Linie schreiben
Schulanfänger schreiben oft nur auf jeder zweiten dicken Linie. Geben Sie den französischen Zeilen einen Abstand von acht Linien.
```diff
-    seyes: { above: 4, below: 2, gap: -2, seyes: true }, // a row on every heavy line
+    seyes: { above: 4, below: 2, gap: 2, seyes: true },
```
## Häufige Fehler
- Ein Gestaltungstext wird an seinem Kasten abgeschnitten. Ist der Kasten nur eine Zeile hoch, verliert die Vorlage die Unterlängen von g und p: Geben Sie ihm eine hohe Zeile und setzen Sie ihn von der Grundlinie aus.
- `loadCjkFonts` lädt jede Schrift für die ganze Probe: Fehlt einer chinesischen Schrift ein Zeichen, das der Text irgendwo verwendet, schlägt das Laden fehl. Schreiben Sie die Schriftnamen im Impressum in lateinischen Buchstaben.
