## Em poucas palavras

Uma página de um álbum de quadrinhos europeu, com a voz do narrador em caixas amarelas e os diálogos em balões, escrita em texto simples e letreirada pelo Postext em sete línguas.

## O que você vai compor

A primeira história de um álbum de quadrinhos espanhol, *Las naranjas de Carmen* (*As laranjas da Carmen* na edição brasileira): uma folha de rosto na página par e, em frente, uma página de sete quadros em quatro faixas, como se desenham os álbuns franco-belgas. Lola, de nove anos, vai à feira no domingo com o avô Paco e puxa a laranja de baixo da pirâmide de Carmen. Os desenhos são em linha clara com cores chapadas; os quadros têm contorno fino e canto vivo, a narração fica em caixas amarelas encaixadas nos cantos do quadro, e os diálogos são letreirados em maiúsculas e minúsculas, como fazem os letristas europeus. O texto fica no Markdown, um arquivo por língua: o original em espanhol e depois inglês, catalão, chinês, árabe, japonês e português, cada um letreirado pelo motor sobre a mesma divisão e os mesmos desenhos.

**Esta receita responde a:**

- Como faço para compor uma página de álbum europeu com recordatórios de narração?
- Como faço para escrever os balões de fala em Markdown?

## A resposta curta

```js
## Ingredientes
**Ensina**
- [Bordas e sarjetas dos quadros](https://postext.dev/pt/docs/comics.md#quadros-e-arte): comics.panel e os panelStyles nomeados definem a espessura, a cor e o arredondamento da borda e o fundo dos quadros; comics.gutter define o espaço entre as faixas e entre quadros lado a lado.
- [Estilos de balão](https://postext.dev/pt/docs/comics.md#estilos-de-balão): Uma marca depois do personagem escolhe o balão: pensamento (thought), sussurro (whisper), grito (shout), rádio (radio), voz interior (inner), recordatório (caption) ou nota (note); comics.balloonStyles muda a forma, o contorno, o rabicho, o preenchimento e a fonte deles, ou acrescenta outros.
## Preparo
### 1 · O visual do álbum é uma config comics
O código é a [resposta curta](https://postext.dev/pt/cookbook/tebeo-album-page.md#a-resposta-curta) acima. `comics.panel` define todos os quadros (um fio de tinta de 0,75 pt, cantos vivos) e `panelStyles` acrescenta um estilo nomeado sem contorno, que o último quadro usa com `style=open`: um epílogo num banco de praça, fora da feira. Os estilos de balão de fábrica são redefinidos pelo id: `caption` vira uma caixa amarelo-clara com contorno fino, `shout` uma explosão de dezesseis pontas, `sfx` o laranja das laranjas com contorno de tinta. O letreiramento mantém `textTransform: 'none'`; uma página americana usaria `'uppercase'`.
A página em si é uma única diretiva no conteúdo, uma árvore de divisões e sete quadros, cada um com o seu roteiro:
```md
:::page{split="25 [60 | *] / 25 [55 | *] / 24 / * [50 | *]"}
::panel{art=t1}
caption: Los domingos, el abuelo Paco y yo íbamos al mercado.
caption{at=bottom-end}: Siempre a la misma hora. Siempre por la misma puerta.
::panel{art=t4}
lola{thought}: La de abajo es la más gorda.
paco{shout}: ¡Lola, esa no!
```
`caption` é um recordatório de narração (o primeiro vai para o canto superior do lado em que a leitura começa), `{at=bottom-end}` manda o segundo para o canto oposto, e um id de personagem como `lola` ou `paco` desenha um balão com o rabicho apontado para a boca que o desenho declara.
### 2 · Os desenhos sabem onde cada personagem fala
Cada desenho declara o que todo recorte precisa manter (`safeArea`), onde ficam a boca, a cabeça e o rosto de cada personagem (`anchors`) e o que nenhum balão pode cobrir (`avoid`), tudo em frações do desenho. O quadro do desmoronamento ocupa a terceira faixa, 200 mm por 63 mm, então a zona segura dele é a faixa dos rostos e das laranjas voando; os quadros quadrados perdem o chão. Nada disso depende da língua, por isso as sete edições compartilham tudo.
### 3 · Uma folha de rosto diante da história
```js
// script.js, linhas 69–85
const centred = (id, y) => ({ anchor: { to: id, edge: 'below' }, offset: { y: mm(y) },
  size: { width: 'fill', height: 'auto' } }); // full width, so align: 'center' centres it
const titlePage = {
  id: 'title-page', numbered: false, toc: false, breakBefore: { enabled: true, parity: 'any' },
  advancedDesign: { enabled: true, minHeight: mm(212), slot: { elements: [
    { kind: 'text', id: 'series', content: '{attr.series}', fontFamily: LETTER, fontSize: pt(17),
      color: col('ink'), align: 'center', overflow: 'wrap',
      placement: { anchor: { to: 'container', edge: 'top-left' }, offset: { y: mm(24) },
        size: { width: 'fill', height: 'auto' } } },
    { kind: 'text', id: 'title', content: '{titleText}', fontFamily: DISPLAY, fontSize: pt(58),
      lineHeight: 1.05, color: col('orange'), align: 'center', overflow: 'wrap',
      placement: centred('#series', 5) },
    { kind: 'image', id: 'vignette', resourceId: 't3', decorative: true, // 3 : 2, uncropped
      placement: { anchor: { to: '#title', edge: 'below' }, offset: { x: mm(10), y: mm(14) },
        size: { width: mm(180), height: mm(120) } } },
  ] } },
};
```
A folha de rosto é um estilo de título: a linha da série na letra do letreiramento, o título na letra das onomatopeias (Bangers, ou Dela Gothic One, ZCOOL KuaiLe e Lalezar nas outras escritas) e uma vinheta da banca de Carmen na sua proporção de 3 : 2. A montagem passa `continuation: { pageIndexOffset: 1 }`, de modo que a folha de rosto cai numa página par e a história abre na ímpar em frente, a página 3.
## A receita completa
Um único arquivo, composto a partir da pasta da receita com o texto de exemplo e o kit comum das Receitas já incluídos; ele monta a própria página. Para executá-lo, coloque-o em um `<script type="module">` de uma página vazia ou cole-o no painel JS de um pen novo do CodePen (como módulo). Ele importa o postext do esm.sh, então não há nada para instalar nem compilar.
## Variações
### Letreirar em maiúsculas, como um gibi americano
Ponha o letreiramento em maiúsculas; a narração e os diálogos acompanham, e as escritas sem caixa alta e baixa (chinês, japonês, árabe) ficam como estão.
```diff
- color: col('ink'), textTransform: 'none' }, // European letterers write in mixed case
+    color: col('ink'), textTransform: 'uppercase' },
```
## Erros comuns
- **Carregue todas as fontes antes do layout.** O motor de layout mede o texto com as fontes que o navegador carregou e guarda as larguras em cache, então uma fonte que chega depois da primeira composição deixa quebras de linha erradas e um PDF que não corresponde mais à tela. Carregue antes todos os pesos e estilos e chame clearMeasurementCache() antes de recompor quando alguma chegar atrasada.
- **A configuração fica em cache pela identidade: crie um objeto novo.** O motor guarda em cache as configurações resolvidas pela identidade do objeto, então alterar uma configuração no próprio objeto e compor de novo reaproveita o resultado antigo. Crie um objeto novo a cada composição; por isso a configuração de uma receita é uma função, config().
- O corpo do letreiramento é um só para o livro inteiro: uma tradução mais longa aumenta os balões e os move, nunca encolhe a letra. Confira as páginas em catalão e em árabe depois de mudar a divisão.
- O texto alternativo de cada quadro fica no manifesto dos desenhos em sete línguas, escolhido com `t({ … })`; uma língua que falte na lista usa a primeira. `::panel{alt="…"}` num arquivo de conteúdo o substitui para um quadro.
