Lo que vas a componer

Un capítulo de un manual inventado de composición japonesa, 組版の言葉 (Las palabras de la composición), y su índice. El capítulo explica los nombres de las partes de la página, de los cuerpos de letra y de las reglas de puntuación, en una página A5 de 36 caracteres por 28 líneas; cada término se marca para el índice donde se explica. El índice es el tema: el japonés no tiene orden alfabético para los kanji, así que un índice ordena cada entrada por su lectura en kana, según la tabla del gojūon (五十音), bajo las cabezas de fila あ行, か行, さ行. Un término con furigana da su lectura por sí solo; cualquier otro término con un kanji la dice en un atributo yomi. El índice de nombres chinos ordena nombres chinos por pinyin y por trazos.

#1 · Una lectura para cada término con kanji

El código es la respuesta corta de arriba. En el texto, :index[{版面|はん|めん}]{main} imprime 版面 con はんめん encima y ordena la entrada como はんめん; :index[明朝体]{yomi="みんちょうたい" main} no imprime lectura y la ordena como みんちょうたい. Los términos en kana, ノンブル o のど, y los latinos, DTP o JIS X 4051, no necesitan nada (Marcas de índice). La lectura solo decide el orden: la entrada se imprime como está escrita. Las lecturas de los kanji no se pueden adivinar, porque 天 es てん aquí y あめ en otras palabras, así que el motor nunca lo intenta.

#2 · Orden JIS y cabezas de fila

groupBy: 'gojuon' es lo que 'auto' elige con locale: 'ja'. Las entradas se ordenan según JIS X 4061: el katakana como el hiragana, el kana pequeño como el grande, un kana sonoro justo después del sordo, ー como la vocal que lo precede. Así, 級 (きゅう) va antes que 行取り (ぎょうどり), y ゴシック体 (ごしっくたい) después de 小口 (こぐち). Los términos latinos van primero, bajo sus letras, como ordena JIS; los símbolos y las cifras irían antes que ellos (Índice analítico).

#3 · → y も見よ

Una remisión es una marca con see, :index{term="振り仮名" yomi="ふりがな" see="ルビ"}, e imprime 振り仮名 →ルビ. Una remisión de «véase también» usa seealso e imprime los destinos antes de も見よ, 級 10 →歯も見よ, como lo escriben los índices japoneses. see: { italic: false } deja las etiquetas en redonda, porque una letra japonesa no tiene cursiva. El espacio ideográfico tras cada término y el 、 entre páginas vienen de separator y locatorSeparator.

El título del índice es un estilo de título con span: 'page' y un layout de dos columnas: su diseño, una banda pálida con el título, cruza la página, y :::index fluye en dos columnas debajo. Noto Serif SC y TC tienen kana, pero dibujan los kanji con formas chinas (直, 骨 y 角 cambian) y el kana con un diseño chino. Compón el texto en Noto Serif JP o Shippori Mincho B1 y los títulos en Noto Sans JP, cargadas con loadCjkFonts. Fontsource sirve una familia china, japonesa o coreana en un centenar de archivos por peso, cada uno con un intervalo de caracteres. loadFonts solo descarga el archivo latin, así que en pantalla los caracteres chinos salen de una fuente del sistema y se miden mal, y fontsourceProvider entrega al PDF ese archivo latin, que los imprime como cajas vacías. Añade el bloque cjk del kit, llama a loadCjkFonts(FONTS, markdown) después de loadFonts (una vez por voz, con el texto que compone, si el libro usa varias fuentes chinas) y pasa a renderToPdf fontProvider: cjkPdfProvider: ambos toman los archivos que contienen los caracteres del texto. El chino no tiene cursiva

Las familias CJK no traen cursiva, y la tipografía china marca el énfasis con puntos junto a los caracteres, no inclinándolos. En un documento etiquetado como chino, *…* pone puntos de énfasis en los caracteres chinos que abarca y deja la cursiva para las palabras latinas (cjk.emphasis: 'dots', lo predeterminado en chino); :dots[…] los pone en cualquier sitio. Entrada del índice sin lectura

Por qué. Un índice japonés ordena las entradas por su lectura, y ningún algoritmo lee los kanji con fiabilidad: esta entrada tiene un kanji y ninguna de sus marcas da una lectura (yomi, ruby en kana sobre el texto marcado o una clave sort en kana), así que se ordena después de las entradas en kana, por punto de código.

Solución. Añade yomi="…" con la lectura en kana a una de las marcas de la entrada (:index[東京]{yomi="とうきょう"}), o marca un texto que lleve ruby ({東京|とう|きょう}). Documentación →

  • Un término con un kanji y sin lectura provoca indexReadingMissing. Sin su yomi, 明朝体 cayó al final del índice, después de わ行, sin cabeza, y la composición avisó de que la entrada «tiene un kanji y ninguna lectura».
