Un libro ilustrado de diez páginas, かみの ふね (El barco de papel), escrito y dibujado para la receta: después de la lluvia una niña dobla un barco de papel rojo, y el barco baja por el río, deja atrás una rana, una garza y la luna, y llega al mar. Está compuesto como los libros japoneses para los lectores más pequeños: solo hiragana, a 20 pt en Klee One, una letra hecha a partir del modelo de los libros de texto escolares, y un espacio entre frases, 分かち書き (wakachigaki), para que el niño lea frase a frase. Las páginas son apaisadas, de 260 × 200 mm, en vertical y encuadernadas por la derecha: el dibujo arriba, debajo líneas cortas de ocho caracteres, y el barco avanza hacia la izquierda, al ritmo de las páginas.

#1 · Mantén entera cada frase
El código está en la respuesta corta. El japonés puede cortarse entre dos kana cualesquiera, así que un espacio entre frases no hace más que añadir aire: no impide que la línea acabe dentro de あか|い. cjk.wordBreak: 'keep-all' conserva únicamente los cortes en un espacio y junto a la puntuación, tras 、。」 o delante de 「, como el word-break: keep-all de CSS, y el kinsoku sigue valiendo (tipografía de Asia oriental). El espacio es un U+0020 corriente, de 0,35 cuadratines en Klee One, y la línea lo suprime cuando cae al final. Un U+3000 también separa frases, pero es un carácter fijo de un cuadratín que se queda al final de la línea.

El texto va en bandera. Justificada, una línea corta estiraría sus espacios y los huecos entre sus kana hasta llegar al pie de la franja; un libro ilustrado deja cada línea donde acaba su última frase.

En el texto vertical 'left' es lo alto de la página, así que una maqueta de columna y media con la columna lateral a la izquierda son dos franjas: los dibujos flotan en la de arriba (14 caracteres de alto) y el texto corre por la de abajo (8 caracteres). Justificada, cada línea llega al pie de la franja: primero se estiran los espacios entre frases, hasta medio cuadratín, y después los huecos entre los kana (JLReq §3.8). Una línea corta de kana de 20 pt muestra entonces huecos anchos; por eso la receta deja las líneas en bandera.

Etiqueta un texto japonés 'ja', nunca zh-Hans ni LANG
Las ediciones de una receta son en y es, pero una muestra japonesa es japonesa en las dos: `locale: LANG` la etiquetaría como inglés o español, y una etiqueta china la compondría con las reglas chinas (puntuación Kaiming, kana pequeño libre de empezar línea, 图 en lugar de 図, formas chinas de los caracteres en el PDF). Escribe 'ja': elige la región de Japón (corte y puntuación de la JLReq, puntos de sésamo, reparto de los furigana, etiquetas 図 y 表) y desactiva la separación silábica. Compón el japonés con una fuente japonesa
Noto Serif SC y TC tienen kana, pero dibujan los kanji con formas chinas (直, 骨 y 角 cambian) y el kana con un diseño chino. Compón el texto en Noto Serif JP o Shippori Mincho B1 y los títulos en Noto Sans JP, cargadas con loadCjkFonts. Los archivos japoneses de Fontsource no tienen hentaigana ni otros kana históricos (U+1B000–1B16F): loadCjkFonts falla con ellos y el PDF imprime cajas, así que escribe el kana moderno o lleva en los recursos de la receta una fuente que los tenga. Las fuentes chinas se cargan por fragmentos, con el bloque cjk
Fontsource sirve una familia china, japonesa o coreana en un centenar de archivos por peso, cada uno con un intervalo de caracteres. loadFonts solo descarga el archivo latin, así que en pantalla los caracteres chinos salen de una fuente del sistema y se miden mal, y fontsourceProvider entrega al PDF ese archivo latin, que los imprime como cajas vacías. Añade el bloque cjk del kit, llama a loadCjkFonts(FONTS, markdown) después de loadFonts (una vez por voz, con el texto que compone, si el libro usa varias fuentes chinas) y pasa a renderToPdf fontProvider: cjkPdfProvider: ambos toman los archivos que contienen los caracteres del texto. Cualquier objeto headings desactiva el salto de página del H1
Por defecto un H1 salta a una página impar (always-odd), pero cualquier objeto headings anula ese valor, así que los capítulos van seguidos y span: 'page' no hace nada. Carga todas las fuentes antes de componer
La composición mide el texto con las fuentes que el navegador ha cargado y guarda los anchos, así que una fuente que llega después de la primera composición deja cortes de línea erróneos y un PDF que ya no coincide con la pantalla. keep-allsolo conserva los cortes que el texto ya trae: Postext no busca las frases, así que los espacios los escribe el autor. Una frase más larga que la línea se sigue cortando por dentro, en el último punto que permite el kinsoku.- El chino nunca separa sus palabras, y el libro de lectura chino Un libro de lectura vertical con zhuyin a la derecha ayuda a sus lectores con lecturas sobre los caracteres; un libro ilustrado japonés no usa kanji, así que no necesita furigana, y los espacios entre frases guían la lectura.
