Dos contes tal com els imprimeixen unes obres completes japoneses: el text baixa per la pàgina en dues franges apilades, cada conte comença en una pàgina de l'esquerra amb el títol a tota l'alçada, i la seva última pàgina no s'iguala.
Què compondràs
Set pàgines d'un volum d'obres completes (全集) en una pàgina A5 enquadernada per la dreta: El fil de l'aranya i La fe de Bisei, d'Akutagawa Ryūnosuke, compostos en dos pisos (二段組) de 25 caràcters d'alçada i 21 línies d'amplada, en Noto Serif JP de 9 pt amb un filet fi entre els pisos. Cada conte comença en una pàgina senar, la de l'esquerra, amb el títol de 20 pt baixant pels dos pisos i el nom de l'autor a prop del peu; els folis continuen des de la pàgina 211. Les seccions 一 二 三 ocupen tres línies del seu pis. Quan un conte s'acaba, la seva última pàgina queda tal com cau el text, el 成り行き (nariyuki) japonès: a la pàgina 214 el pis de dalt ocupa tota la pàgina i el de baix té tres línies i la data. El diari xinès en pisos verticals és la Núm. 084, i un títol de capítol sobre dues columnes horitzontals, la Núm. 017.

#1 · Dues columnes girades un quart de volta són dos pisos
El codi és la resposta curta de més amunt. En una pàgina amb writingMode: 'vertical-rl', layoutType: 'double' apila les dues columnes: la primera omple el pis de dalt des de la dreta, després el de baix, i el canal és la franja que queda entre tots dos (Escriptura vertical). La retícula de caràcters compta els caràcters d'un pis, així que cada pis fa 25 caràcters de 9 pt i el canal s'arrodoneix a dos caràcters justos; les 21 línies de 15,75 pt ocupen 116,7 mm dels 148 de la pàgina. El filet entre els pisos travessa la pàgina, de 0,4 pt i d'un gris càlid.
L'equilibratge de Postext acabaria els dos pisos de l'última pàgina d'un conte a la mateixa alçada, que és com tanquen un capítol els diaris xinesos i la majoria dels llibres europeus a dues columnes. Un llibre japonès en pisos deixa caure el text: el pis de dalt recorre tota la pàgina abans que comenci el de baix. balancing.trailing: false és aquesta decisió, i enabled: false, que la inclou, impedeix a més que l'equilibratge afegeixi línies sobre els títols en una retícula de caràcters (Equilibratge de columnes).
#2 · Baixa el títol de l'obra pels dos pisos

Un nivell de títol amb span: 'page' es compon a tota l'alçada de la pàgina, els dos pisos i el canal, al començament del flux, a la dreta d'una pàgina vertical; els pisos comencen després de les set línies que en reserva el disseny. Un títol així sempre obre pàgina, i breakBefore.parity: 'odd' fa que sigui la de l'esquerra: El fil de l'aranya acaba a la pàgina 214, que és parella, de manera que La fe de Bisei comença a la 215 sense cap pàgina en blanc entre totes dues (Span i disseny avançat). Al disseny, x baixa per la pàgina i y la travessa des de la vora dreta de la caixa; el nom de l'autor es col·loca des del peu del pis de baix, tres caràcters més amunt.
#3 · Numera les seccions en tres línies del seu pis
El segon nivell, lineSpan: 3 amb indent: em(8), compon 一 二 三 vuit caràcters més avall en una franja de tres línies, tal com les marca el text d'Aozora (八字下げ, 中見出し), així que el text que segueix un número de secció es manté a les línies del pis del costat (Configuració per nivell). Les dates que tanquen els contes, (大正七年四月十六日), s'aixequen un caràcter del peu del seu pis (地から一字上げ) amb :::paragraphs{align=end endIndent=1}; el convertidor d'Aozora les escriu com un estil aozora-end1 que les deixa enganxades al peu, i els atributs del contenidor hi afegeixen la pujada d'un caràcter.

anchor.to: 'outer' col·loca el hashira al marge del tall, el nom del volum, 芥川龍之介集, a les pàgines de la dreta i el títol de l'obra a les de l'esquerra, i pages: 'body' els aparta de les pàgines on comença una obra (Elements de text verticals). El foli va de través al marge, en xifres aràbigues, com l'imprimeixen moltes obres completes: baixant pel tall, tres xifres quedarien ajagudes. pageNumbering.startAt: 211 numera les pàgines com el volum. L'estil del títol de la primera obra porta el colofó amb pages: 'opener', perquè el peu d'un estil serveix a totes les pàgines de la seva secció.

二 こちらは地獄の底の血の池で、ほかの罪人と一しょに、浮いたり沈んだりしていた{犍陀多|かんだた}でございます。何しろどちらを見ても、まっ暗で、たまにそのくら暗からぼんやり浮き上っているものがあると思いますと、それは恐しい針の山の針が光るのでございますから、その心細さと云ったらございません。その上あたりは墓の中のようにしんと静まり返って、たまに聞えるものと云っては、ただ罪人がつく{微|かすか}な{嘆息|たんそく}ばかりでございます。これはここへ落ちて来るほどの人間は、もうさまざまな地獄の{責苦|せめく}に疲れはてて、泣声を出す力さえなくなっているのでございましょう。ですからさすが大泥坊の犍陀多も、やはり血の池の血に{咽|むせ}びながら、まるで死にかかった{蛙|かわず}のように、ただもがいてばかり居りました。 ところがある時の事でございます。{何気|なにげ}なく犍陀多が頭を挙げて、血の池の空を眺めますと、そのひっそりとした暗の中を、遠い遠い天上から、銀色の{蜘蛛|くも}の糸が、まるで人目にかかるのを恐れるように、一すじ細く光りながら、するすると自分の上へ垂れて参るのではございませんか。犍陀多はこれを見ると、思わず手を{拍|う}って喜びました。この糸に{縋|すが}りついて、どこまでものぼって行けば、きっと地獄からぬけ出せるのに相違ございません。いや、うまく行くと、極楽へはいる事さえも出来ましょう。そうすれば、もう針の山へ追い上げられる事もなくなれば、血の池に沈められる事もある筈はございません。 こう思いましたから{犍陀多|かんだた}は、早速その蜘蛛の糸を両手でしっかりとつかみながら、一生懸命に上へ上へとたぐりのぼり始めました。元より大泥坊の事でございますから、こう云う事には昔から、慣れ切っているのでございます。 しかし地獄と極楽との間は、何万里となくございますから、いくら{焦|あせ}って見た所で、容易に上へは出られません。ややしばらくのぼる{中|うち}に、とうとう犍陀多もくたびれて、もう一たぐりも上の方へはのぼれなくなってしまいました。そこで仕方がございませんから、まず一休み休むつもりで、糸の中途にぶら下りながら、遥かに目の下を見下しました。 すると、一生懸命にのぼった甲斐があって、さっきまで自分がいた血の池は、今ではもう暗の底にいつの間にかかくれて居ります。それからあのぼんやり光っている恐しい針の山も、足の下になってしまいました。この分でのぼって行けば、地獄からぬけ出すのも、存外わけがないかも知れません。犍陀多は両手を蜘蛛の糸にからみながら、ここへ来てから何年にも出した事のない声で、「しめた。しめた。」と笑いました。ところがふと気がつきますと、蜘蛛の糸の下の方には、{数限|かずかぎり}もない罪人たちが、自分ののぼった後をつけて、まるで{蟻|あり}の行列のように、やはり上へ上へ一心によじのぼって来るではございませんか。犍陀多はこれを見ると、驚いたのと恐しいのとで、しばらくはただ、{莫迦|ばか}のように大きな口を{開|あ}いたまま、眼ばかり動かして居りました。自分一人でさえ{断|き}れそうな、この細い蜘蛛の糸が、どうしてあれだけの{人数|にんず}の重みに堪える事が出来ましょう。もし万一途中で{断|き}れたと致しましたら、折角ここへまでのぼって来たこの{肝腎|かんじん}な自分までも、元の地獄へ{逆落|さかおと}しに落ちてしまわなければなりません。そんな事があったら、大変でございます。が、そう云う中にも、罪人たちは何百となく何千となく、まっ暗な血の池の底から、うようよと{這|は}い上って、細く光っている蜘蛛の糸を、一列になりながら、せっせとのぼって参ります。今の中にどうかしなければ、糸はまん中から二つに断れて、落ちてしまうのに違いありません。 そこで犍陀多は大きな声を出して、「こら、罪人ども。この蜘蛛の糸は{己|おれ}のものだぞ。お前たちは一体誰に{尋|き}いて、のぼって来た。下りろ。下りろ。」と{喚|わめ}きました。 その途端でございます。今まで何ともなかった蜘蛛の糸が、急に犍陀多のぶら下っている所から、ぷつりと音を立てて{断|き}れました。ですから犍陀多もたまりません。あっと云う{間|ま}もなく風を切って、{独楽|こま}のようにくるくるまわりながら、見る見る中に暗の底へ、まっさかさまに落ちてしまいました。 後にはただ極楽の蜘蛛の糸が、きらきらと細く光りながら、月も星もない空の中途に、短く垂れているばかりでございます。 ## Les edicions d'una recepta són en i es, però una mostra japonesa és japonesa en totes dues: `locale: LANG` l'etiquetaria com a anglès o castellà, i una etiqueta xinesa la compondria amb les regles xineses (puntuació Kaiming, kana petit lliure de començar línia, 图 en lloc de 図, formes xineses dels caràcters al PDF). Escriu 'ja': tria la regió del Japó (tall i puntuació de la JLReq, punts de sèsam, repartiment dels furigana, etiquetes 図 i 表) i desactiva la partició de mots. L'equilibri de columnes omple una pàgina que acaba curta (un títol que es queda amb el seu text deixa línies en blanc al peu) afegint línies de la retícula a sobre dels títols i component un paràgraf una línia més folgat. Una línia xinesa més folgada separa els seus caràcters (0,13 em en una pàgina GB/T 9704, molt per sobre de balancing.maxTracking), de manera que els caràcters surten de les columnes de la retícula i els títols de les seves línies. Un títol el nivell o l'estil del qual fixa span: 'page' es compon com a obertura al capdamunt d'una pàgina, tingui o no breakBefore. Col·locat després d'un altre text, o d'una altra obertura a la mateixa pàgina, passa a la pàgina següent i deixa buida la resta de l'actual. Les fonts xineses es carreguen per fragments, amb el bloc cjk
Fontsource serveix una família xinesa, japonesa o coreana en un centenar de fitxers per pes, cadascun amb un interval de caràcters. loadFonts només baixa el fitxer latin, així que a la pantalla els caràcters xinesos surten d'una font del sistema i es mesuren malament, i fontsourceProvider lliura al PDF aquest fitxer latin, que els imprimeix com a caixes buides. Afegeix el bloc cjk del kit, crida loadCjkFonts(FONTS, markdown) després de loadFonts (una vegada per veu, amb el text que compon, si el llibre fa servir diverses fonts xineses) i passa a renderToPdf fontProvider: cjkPdfProvider: tots dos agafen els fitxers que contenen els caràcters del text.
