Lo que vas a componer

La primera historia de un álbum de tebeo, Las naranjas de Carmen: una portadilla en la página par y, enfrente, una página de siete viñetas en cuatro tiras, como se dibujan los álbumes francobelgas. Lola, de nueve años, va al mercado con su abuelo Paco un domingo y saca la naranja de abajo de la pirámide de Carmen. Los dibujos son de línea clara con colores planos; los marcos son finos y de esquina viva, la narración va en cartelas amarillas encajadas en las esquinas de la viñeta y los diálogos se rotulan en mayúsculas y minúsculas, como rotulan los europeos. El texto está en Markdown, un archivo por idioma: el original en castellano y luego inglés, catalán, chino, árabe y japonés, que el motor rotula sobre la misma división y los mismos dibujos.

Elaboración

#1 · El aspecto del álbum es una config comics

El código está en la respuesta corta. comics.panel define todos los marcos (un filete de tinta de 0,75 pt, esquinas vivas) y panelStyles añade uno con nombre y sin borde, que la última viñeta toma con style=open: un epílogo en un banco del parque, fuera del mercado. Los estilos de bocadillo de serie se redefinen por su id: caption pasa a ser una cartela amarillo pálido con un contorno fino, shout un estallido de dieciséis puntas y sfx toma el naranja de las naranjas con un contorno de tinta. La rotulación deja textTransform: 'none'; una página americana pondría 'uppercase'.

La página es una sola directiva en el contenido, un árbol de divisiones y siete viñetas, cada una con su guion:

Cada dibujo declara lo que todo recorte debe conservar (safeArea), dónde están la boca, la cabeza y la cara de cada personaje (anchors) y lo que ningún bocadillo puede tapar (avoid), siempre en fracciones del dibujo. La viñeta del derrumbe ocupa la tercera tira, 200 mm por 63 mm, así que su zona segura es la franja de las caras y las naranjas en el aire; las viñetas cuadradas pierden el suelo. Nada de esto depende del idioma, y las seis ediciones lo comparten.

La portadilla es un estilo de título: la serie en la letra de la rotulación, el título en la de las onomatopeyas (Bangers, o Dela Gothic One, ZCOOL KuaiLe y Lalezar en las otras escrituras) y una viñeta del puesto de Carmen con su forma de 3 : 2. La construcción pasa continuation: { pageIndexOffset: 1 }, de modo que la portadilla cae en página par y la historia empieza enfrente, en la página 3.

Carga todas las fuentes antes de componer

La composición mide el texto con las fuentes que el navegador ha cargado y guarda los anchos, así que una fuente que llega después de la primera composición deja cortes de línea erróneos y un PDF que ya no coincide con la pantalla. Una configuración se cachea por identidad: crea un objeto nuevo

El motor guarda en caché las configuraciones resueltas según la identidad del objeto, así que modificar el mismo objeto y volver a componer reutiliza el resultado anterior.
